I love the little moments when Blair and Dan surprise each other by how well they know the other. Like when Dan points out that Blair is “a dictator of taste” or when Blair comes to Dan and admits that she wouldn’t have been able to survive without him. They both are pleasantly surprised by how the other perceives them.
Then there are the sweet beautiful moments that have completely redefined their relationship. When Blair confesses her love and the first Dair moment when Dan confides in Blair about his mom.
The rest are fun moments that make Dair so unique and interesting. Their banter, shared love of literature and movies, and intellectual teasing. These light, easygoing moments are the ones I love best because that is what Dair is, confident and comfortable with being just who they are.
Dan: I don’t understand. The Dominican Republic? Blair: Louis may not agree to a divorce here in the states but I think I can get one there without his consent. Dan: Was researching divorce law part of your wedding prep? Because that should have been your first sign.
